A Family Tradition Rooted in Irish Hospitality

Welcome to Fiddlers Group—where the spirit of Ireland lives in every pint, plate, and conversation. Since 1991, we’ve proudly brought a little slice of the Emerald Isle to the Peninsula, sharing the warmth, flavor, and craic (or fun, as we say in America) that defines true Irish hospitality.

Founded by Rose and Oliver McElhone, Fiddlers Group was born from a deep love of Irish tradition and a desire to build community. Rose, born in San Francisco to Irish parents, spent her childhood summers in Galway and Roscommon, developing a lasting passion for Irish food and culture—especially the fresh fish from Galway Bay. Oliver hails from County Derry, where sports and storytelling were a way of life. His love for Gaelic Football still runs strong—if he’s not coaching a local team, he’s likely watching one at the bar.

From the beginning, our mission was simple: create a place where everyone feels at home. Whether you’re here for a hearty meal, a perfectly poured pint of Guinness (recognized with the Perfect Pint Award in 2021), or just some good craic, there’s always something to enjoy—and someone to enjoy it with. With live music, traditional pub fare, Irish whiskeys, and sports from both sides of the Atlantic, we aim to make every visit memorable.

At the heart of it all is our beloved matriarch, Molly Mitchell, whose favorite saying—“There’s no such thing as strangers, only friends we haven’t met yet”—remains the guiding spirit behind everything we do.

With two pubs and one big family, we’re proud to continue our tradition of celebrating Irish culture, sharing great food and drink, and building lasting community—one story, song, and laugh at a time.

Whether you're at Fiddlers Green or Molly O’s, you're always among friends.

Welcome home!
